About Us

Our church consists of people with varied faith heritages. That includes Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, atheist, agnostic, pagan, and humanist backgrounds.  As religious liberals, and as a truly “CATHOLIC” community, we place less emphasis on formal beliefs and more on practical living. We believe that ultimately, faith is not in the creeds we say, the place we sit on Sunday or holidays, as it is the lives we live, which is why we seek constantly to be involved in what matters.

Catholic is defined as, “Universal,“ and we see it as encompassing all people, and creatures here on Earth. We use catholic in the lowercase sense, celebrating every person’s sacredness, and divinity, as well as in the more often recognized uppercase sense, using Jesus’s life and the stories of his life as helpful guides for navigating our world as more thoughtful, loving people.

We try hard to be a non-hierarchical, non-denominational form of Church organization where our members are independent affiliates of the whole, building and expanding the various faiths of God here on earth. There is only one authority of the Church, to serve humanity as a source for comfort, safety, hope, and care.

We believe all people should receive one another without prejudice or opinion, but with openness of beliefs, and the desire to pass forward kindness and care as persons of goodwill serving our One Human Family.

We believe we should not only be accountable to God, but most importantly to one another in our works and beliefs of this world as well as the next.

We believe we must have the ability to instruct, as well as the ability and intention to learn from one another. As humanity seeks the unattainable knowledge of wisdom and God, no human shall know the complete revelation of either, yet must seek both if we are to mature spiritually. No revelation is greater than the last, yet each revelation will build from the last to the next, bringing greater clarity of the things which are to come.

We believe as people that we are not to condemn others, but to help others using compassion and love, and to receive correction when it is given in compassion and love. We must be able to confess our sins to one another without fear of condemnation. We realize we are human and are bound to make mistakes, yet it is through faith, knowledge, and spiritual awareness that we learn from those mistakes, which helps us to grow into the fullness of God's high calling, our personhood.

We believe that as members of this One Human Family we must come to the aid and defense of other people, that all may serve a higher purpose. We dare not turn our backs on humanity, or our work when in need, just as we dare not turn our backs to God's work. We work to overcome the challenges, which lay before each of us every single moment of every single day.

We believe we fulfill a position in spiritual faith as we serve the God in every person in this world, which is a position of basic servatude. Our destiny is to help with compassion, love, and spiritual faith of our beliefs, remembering to always bring comfort, aid, and encouragement to all that come to us for help. We are to heal, give shelter, feed, and to offer a judgement free, empathetic, listening ear. Through the unity of believing, and working in the miraculous glow of the Spirit, we pass onward the faith as shared amongst each of us.

We believe that as humans we are to love one another as we serve all in faith and spiritual fulfillment. Religiousness is a state of personal progression in God and not simply a place in a church.
